The production schedule and other main cast members are still unknown. “The Falling” actress Florence Pugh, “Euphoria” star Alexa Demie, and “Looking for Grace” actress Odessa Young were among the actors vying for the part, as previously reported.

Singers such as Bebe Rexha and Sky Ferreira have also been mentioned. The audition procedure was complex because the musical production demands a competent singer and dancer.

WHO ARE JULIA GARNER’S PARENTS?

Julia, the second daughter of artistic, cultured parents, watched many great movies as a child growing up in Riverdale, New York. She said:

“I used to watch with my parents, who were big movie fans.”

Her father, Thomas Garner, is “a WASP” from Shaker Heights, Ohio, and an art teacher at junior school. Her mother, Tami Gingold, became a therapist after moving to the United States.

Before relocating, Julia’s mother was a famous actress and comedian in Israel in her 20s on the Israeli equivalent of “Saturday Night Live.” Their home is a full-on New York Jewish household.

Julia once described her parents as “very academic,” even though she was not a fan of being in school. She described their home as being packed with books, rugs, philosophy, artwork, cactuses, antique electronics, and a Matisse poster in a silver frame from the Metropolitan Museum.

The “Inventing Anna” actress also has a sister, Anna, who is three years older and works as special education and English as a second language teacher in a Manhattan high school.

At 15, Julia started taking acting classes as a hobby because she was timid and wanted to keep busy. However, she liked how it felt and decided to make it a profession.

Julia remembered her mother’s reaction when she first informed her that she wanted to act professionally. Tami asked her daughter if she was sure because acting as a profession was hard.
