She began to align herself with the career she has today when she joined Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and discovered her interest in entertainment. During her time there, she became actively involved in different activities, like writing for the school magazine.

She also recreated a “Romeo & Juliet” presentation into a modern reenactment. While in college, Adams specialized in communications at the University of Missouri. But since she couldn’t afford to pay for her college education, Adams had a part-time job as a bartender and radio personality at a sports bar to raise her school fees.

Even though Adams had previously admitted that dating a footballer wasn’t something she had envisioned, some fans found it hard to believe after the pair again appeared together on a red-carpet event.

Five months after Adams and Amendola were spotted at the Super Bowl event, the two made another public appearance at the ESPY Awards. Still, the duo never commented anything about their rumored relationship. But in 2016, fans concluded the two had broken up after no longer appearing in public.

Another Dating Rumor Denied By C.J. Uzomah

Adams was also rumored to be dating former Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah for almost a year. But it turns out, Uzomah and Adams are good friends. Uzomah, who now plays for New York Jets, clarified the dating rumors during an interview with Bussin’ With The Boys, hosted by Will Compton, which aired on Youtube.

The 30-year-old said he and Adams were not dating; they were just good friends. The football tight end had also dismissed the speculations in a Twitter post and said, “Idk what @DLInTheTrenches is talking about. I’m not dating Kay.”

Uzomah further clarified that his decision to go to New York was not about anything other than his career growth and that he had to speak up because false rumors kept spreading.

Kay Once Opened Up about the Difficulties of Finding a Partner

Even though Adams has been in the limelight for years, she’s kept her personal life off the spotlight. However, in 2012, when she appeared on the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” she opened up about how challenging it is to date, especially in her career.

Kay Adams stated that finding a partner who doesn’t feel intimidated by her and her immense knowledge of sports is challenging. At the time, Adams said that sometimes men felt intimidated by her, which made relationships difficult.

The 36-year-old further added that it takes a special person to support someone who knows more than they do. When Ferguson asked Adams if it’s been difficult being in a relationship with someone, the sportscaster responded that she’s passionate about her job and needs a supportive partner.
