On May 12, supermodel Kendall Jenner broke the internet when she was seen in an episode of “The Kardashians” attempting to cut a cucumber. Her arms were just all in the wrong position, and even Momager Kris Jenner was concerned she would cut her fingers. Fans and viewers were dumb-founded by her lack of basic culinary skills, and took to social media to say so. “The way Kendall Jenner cut that cucumber will haunt me,” one user tweeted, while another deadpanned that the star trying to cut the cucumber “is the most tragic thing I’ve ever witnessed.” Jenner actually responded to that one, tweeting, “tragic!”
Sister Khloé Kardashian later told the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast on May 24 that Jenner was actually taking the backlash a little hard. “Oh, my God, she’s, like, not happy about that. I feel so bad,” the big sis revealed, via Page Six. But now it seems Jenner is making the best of a bad cucumber — er, we mean — situation.
On May 26, Jenner posted a photo to her Instagram Stories of her attempting to chop another foreboding green cuke and the text overlay read, “Here we go again.” A fan screen-grabbed the hilarious slide, responding to KJ’s joke, “SHE IS AN ICON.” We love that she can poke fun at herself, but seriously, maybe she should just stick to her day job.
