Jodie Foster was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 19, 1962. At the age of three, she was cast in a Coppertone TV ad, and at 12, she was already co-starring with Robert De Niro in the cult movie “Taxi Driver” and was nominated for her first Oscar.

Jodie made the difficult transition from child actress to adult star. She went on to win two best actress Academy Awards for her work on “The Silence of the Lambs” with Anthony Hopkins and “The Accused” with Kelly McGillis​​.

Kit’s Mother Can Promise He’ll Never Become an Actor

According to his mother, young Kit is rarely seen in public, is very shy, and isn’t likely to follow in her footsteps into acting. The actress explained that even though his big brother is fascinated by drama, Kit isn’t. She said:

“My younger son is really shy and I can promise you he will never be an actor.”

Kit’s passion seems more musical, and the Academy Award winner revealed that her youngest son is an adept trombone player and “an amazing artist.”

Kit Has 2 Mothers – No One Knows Who His Father Is

Jodie and her longtime partner Cydney Bernard met on the set of the 1993 movie “Sommersby,” in which she co-starred with Richard Gere. The two women fell in love and welcomed their first child, Charles, in 1998 and their second boy, Kit, in 2001.

Jodie gave birth to Kit after presumably conceiving him in vitro, just like his brother Charles. Though rumors named Hollywood producer Randy Stone as the boys’ father, Jodie has never confirmed it, and the identity of the boy’s father is unknown.

Kit Has an Older Brother

Kit was born a month prematurely at a Los Angeles hospital with a respectable weight of 6 pounds, 3 ounces. He is the actress’ second child. His older brother Charles was born in 1998.
