In Touch confirmed that the home will be sold at an auction “to the highest bidder for cash” on March 7 during the Fulton County’s courthouse legal hours of sale.
Truist Bank is overseeing the selling of the property. The house is being sold due to the Bravo couple’s “failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided,” according to the foreclosure notice.
Kim showed off her swimming pool and “favorite” room via her Instagram Stories on February 21, seemingly firing back at speculation about their living situation.
Additionally, Ariana told TMZ on February 22 that the whole situation is a “misunderstanding” and urged fans not to “believe everything you hear.”
Kim and Kroy worked out a deal to keep the house from being sold at auction on March 7, People reported on February 24. “The couple has taken the action to clear this up,” a source close to Bravo told the outlet.
Their financial woes continued though, as it was reported on May 8, 2023, that the pair owed the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018, according to TMZ.
Why Are Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Getting a Divorce?
In court documents obtained by In Touch, Kroy filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage, claiming their union was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” He is seeking temporary and permanent sole legal and physical custody of their children and is requesting child support. Their kids are currently in Kroy’s care, according to the divorce petition.
