Kylie Jenner threw it back to the 2010s — and sent her fans into a tailspin — when she posted photos of herself with pastel pink hair on Instagram Tuesday, bringing back memories of her iconic King Kylie era with the new look.
“hiiiii remember me” the 26-year-old “Kardashians” star captioned the post, sharing three pics of herself posing in her car wearing what appears to be a pink wig.
She wore a simple gray tank top in the pics, going for an almost bare-faced look with rosy blush and neutral eyeshadow.
While Jenner sticks with her natural brunette locks these days, she was once known for her colorful hues like turquoise, green and pink, rocking a silver skull ring on repeat and plenty of edgy fashions during her teenage days on Tumblr.
She dubbed herself King Kylie at the time, even changing her Instagram handle to @kingkylie in 2015.
Fans went crazy for the nostalgic look, like one who commented, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL KING KYLIE IS BACKK.”
“Yaaaas the 2014 era is unlocking” another added, while a third fan wrote, “This cured my seasonal depression.”
“we never did get a season 2 of Life of Kylie…. just saying 👀” an Instagram user weighed in, referring to the 2017 reality show Jenner starred in with her then-BFF Jordyn Woods.

While fans might have been surprised by the King Kylie nod, the mom of two dropped hints about its resurgence during her interview with WSJ magazine last year.
Chatting with the publication about the launch of her new fashion brand, Khy, she described the looks as being quite “King Kylie—who I am at my core.”
Big sister Kim Kardashian also referenced Kylie’s wilder days, telling WSJ, “She’s definitely obviously matured so much, having babies and growing up, but I haven’t seen the silly Kylie in a while. She’s back to Tumblr Kylie.”
Whether King Kylie is back for good or just an Instagram post, stay tuned.
