Kylie Jenner Slammed for ‘Copying’ Sofia Richie after Wearing White Dress: “Not Classy Enough”

Kylie Jenner’s latest social media post sparked copy-cat accusations from fans amid her Parisian trip. The beauty mogul donned an expensive ensemble but received backlash.

Kylie Jenner faced criticism on social media for allegedly mimicking fellow socialite Sofia Richie‘s style. The reality star took to Instagram to share her outfit while roaming the French capital.

The founder of Kylie Cosmetics sported a chic $2,800 white midi-dress featuring a high collar, corset-style dropped waist, and a sweeping ankle-length skirt.

She accompanied the all-white ensemble with strappy heels and a matching purse. The beauty mogul kept her glam look effortlessly stylish.

She pulled back her hair with a white tie and allowed a few loose strands to accent her smoky eye, rosy cheeks, and nude matte lips.

Soon after, fans pointed out the striking resemblance between Jenner’s look and Richie’s aesthetic.

Comments started to pour in as one follower commented, “Trying to have her Sophia Richie moment, but you’re NOT classy enough.”

Another follower added, “Copying Sophia Richie these days, I see 🤪,” as one more weighed in and said, “Not her tryna be like Sofia with the clean girl aesthetic.”

A fan also chimed in and noted that Richie inspired her look while a fellow commenter accused Jenner of rebranding herself into her “Sofia Richie era.” Before getting pitted against each other, the young influencers made headlines for being close.

The special friendship between Jenner and Richie began when Richie dated Scott Disick, the ex-husband of Jenner’s half-sister, Kourtney Kardashian, in 2017.

An insider revealed that the pair developed an “irreplaceable bond,” which became particularly significant following Jenner’s much-publicized fallout with former best friend, Jordyn Woods.

Richie reportedly supported Jenner through the emotional turmoil that ensued, strengthening their bond.

However, following Richie’s breakup with Disick in 2020, rumors began circulating about potential tension in their friendship. Jenner notably missed celebrating Richie’s 22nd birthday in Cabo, allegedly to avoid any “awkwardness.”

Earlier in 2021, Jenner reportedly unfollowed a bunch of people on social media, with Richie being one of them. Currently, though, Richie’s name reappeared in Jenner’s following list.

Despite the rumblings of their fallout, sources shared that they maintained their close friendship, a bond that dates back to their childhood.

As the rumors cooled down, both stars moved on in their personal lives filled with love.

Richie went on to marry British record executive Elliot Grainge in April, while Jenner focused on her role as a devoted mother to her two children, daughter Stormi and son Aire.
