Lily Allen, the popular singer-turned-actor, recently spoke about her first date with her “Stranger Things” actor husband, David Harbour, during an appearance on “The Jonathan Ross Show” that aired on April 1. Surprisingly, Allen had no idea who Harbour was, even though they met on the celebrity dating app Raya. When she saw Harbour’s profile, which featured a photo of him in a policeman’s uniform from “Stranger Things,” she thought he was a “sexy policeman from a reality TV show.” Furthermore, she had never watched “Stranger Things” before!
Their first date took place at The Wolseley, a fancy restaurant in London, and Allen recalled feeling an instant connection with Harbour. She likened the moment to the one in “Titanic” when Jack turns around under the clock. The couple eventually got married in September 2020 in Las Vegas, and they now reside in Brooklyn with Allen’s two daughters.
