A woman has been left fighting for her life in hospital after a serious crash on Donetsk Way near Crystal Peaks earlier this morning (January 25).
The road remains closed following the serious collision which happened between a vehicle and a pedestrian at 7.37am. A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “A woman has been taken to hospital in a life threatening condition.
“Donetsk Way in Sheffield is currently closed at the junction between Rylstone Grove and Stoneacre Avenue while emergency services remain at the scene.”

South Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service remain in attendance at the scene. It is not yet clear when the road will reopen to traffic.
