Weil was born on June 5, 1977, in New Jersey, USA. Her mother, Lisa, and her father, Marc, were both members of the renowned comedy troupe The Mad House of London.

Hence, she spent much of her childhood traveling with them. Weil began performing in a local theater at seven, shortly after settling in a small town in Pennsylvania with her family.

Despite her lack of formal training, her parents guided her, allowing Weil to travel to Manhattan many times to audition for roles, which proved fruitful.

Her Marriage to Paul Adelstein

Weil married actor Paul Adelstein in November 2006. Before tying the knot, they had known each other through various theater shows. They starred in film projects including “Order Up,” “Little Fish, Strange Pond,” and “The Missing Person” After their marriage.

The former couple also appeared in Shonda Rhimes’ show “Scandal.” Weil also appeared once in “Private Practice,” though she did not share a scene with Adelstein.

Adelstein joked that Weil made fun of him for everything because he always said he had so much to do, but she always countered him by saying he was not doing anything but only puttering.

In her file for divorce, Weil requested joint custody of their daughter and spousal support. Weil and Adelstein finalized their divorce in November 2017.

According to People, a judge granted the divorce documents the formerly married couple submitted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The former pair share only daughter Josephine Elizabeth, who they welcomed in 2010. Adelstein once spoke about Weil and their daughter in a 2012 interview with Glamour. It remains unknown whether Adelstein has moved on to a new partner.

Weil’s Relationship with Her Daughter
