Lorna Bean Is Sean Bean’s Daughter Who Keeps Her Life Away from the Spotlight

Lorna Bean is the first daughter of a famous movie star who made a lasting impression on the film industry when he starred in “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” Lorna is now living in Australia and started a family of her own.

Sean Bean is a famed British actor who rose to the heights of Hollywood from his early days acting in many West End stage dramas. Sean has been one of the go-to actors for portraying a tough guy; however, he considers himself soft at heart and has proven that he never gives up on love.

The 63-year-old has had an arduous journey with finding the love of his life. He has currently been married since 2017 but carries a tumultuous history involving four previous marriages. He welcomed two daughters with his second wife, Melanie Hill, and one with his third wife, Abigail Cruttenden.

Lorna Bean Is Sean Bean’s First Daughter from His Marriage to Actress Melanie Hill

Sean and Melanie’s marriage began on February 27, 1990. Melanie was Sean’s second wife, and they married two years after his first divorce. They met each other for the first time at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. After they tied the knot in 1990, they welcomed another daughter, Lorna being their first kid from before the wedding.

Lorna’s mother is an actress who is widely recognized for portraying Cathy Matthews in “Coronation Street.” They welcomed Lorna in 1987 and her sister Molly Bean four years later. Lorna’s parents remained together for a total of seven years.

Sean spoke about absenteeism in his daughters’ lives while growing up and how it probably affected his relationship with his wives. He said, “It’s something I feel I couldn’t do now. I have missed a lot of stuff in the past. You make up for it when you finish your job – I would have two months off and see them every day, so it kind of pans out in the end.”

Lorna Bean Is Married and Already Has Kids of Her Own

Lorna lives a life void of the media’s attention, making the facts about her career unknown. However, the 35-year-old has started a family of her own with her husband of seven years, Michael Stone. They tied the knot on May 28, 2016. Their wedding ceremony was attended by almost 80 people, and the after-party by an additional 120.

Lorna lives in Australia with her husband, who her father has fully approved. Sean said his son-in-law is a good man and impressed him when he imposed the “dad test.” She also extended her family, welcoming two children with Michael in Melbourne, Australia. Their youngest child made Sean a grandfather of four.

In 2017, Lorna’s father got married for the fifth time to an actress named Ashley Moore. They remain married to this day; according to Sean, he did not intend on getting married again, but Ashley’s positive energy took him by surprise. The actor revealed that they had been together for seven years by the time they married.

Lorna Bean Has Two Younger Sisters

As mentioned before, Lorna shares a mother with her younger sister, Molly, who was born four years after her in September 1991. The pair have another sister, Evie Natasha Bean, from their father’s marriage with his third wife. He married Abigail Cruttenden shortly after his divorce from Melanie.

Lorna’s youngest sister Evie was born in 1997 after her parents met on the set of “Sharpe” in 1996. Sean and Abigail underwent a divorce in 2000, and Jonathan R. Fraser became Evie’s stepfather three years later. The girls’ father also moved on and married his fourth wife, Georgina Sutcliffe, who he divorced in 2010.

Molly developed a second chronic illness after giving birth to her son. She consumed medication to combat the pain, but it made matters worse, causing harsh side effects. Molly wanted an alternative source of healing and found that crystal healing changed her life. She then opened a business selling healing crystals. After Sean’s marriage with Evie’s mother ended, he stayed single for a long time. His 2008 love story with his fourth wife was not a sure thing. They were set to wed in January, but the couple called the wedding off the day before it could take place, claiming the decision was made for personal reasons.

Today Lorna’s father boasts an impressive collection of projects in his résumé. He is best recognized for his portrayal of Boromir in “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” starring Patrick Stewart’s romantic counterpart, Ian McKellen.

Sean Penn is also another celebrity father who has kids and underwent a divorce from his wife. He also changed his life to be there for his children, just like Lorna’s father.
