There are long delays on the M62 westbound near Huddersfield due to “emergency bridge repairs”.
One lane is shut on the motorway between Rishworth Moor (Junction 22) and Sir Isaac Newton Way (Junction 21) with live motorway cameras showing huge queues have built up in the area.
It is not yet clear why the emergency repairs are taking place. Traffic and travel site Inrix reports: “Long delays and one lane closed due to emergency bridge repairs on M62 Westbound from J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) to J21 A6193 Sir Isaac Newton Way (Milnrow).”
