A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash between two vans in Rotherham.
The crash happened in Main Street, Swallownest, on Friday December 1 at 10.56pm and involved a white Transit van and a white Iveco van that had a cherry picker loaded on the back. South Yorkshire Police say a 42-year-old man was rushed to hospital where he is still being treated for life-threatening injuries.
A 30-year-old man was also rushed to hospital but has since been discharged. His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police also arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are now appealing for information and are particularly keen to speak to any bus drivers who were in the area at the time. Information can be given by calling 101 and quoting log number 1020 of December 1.

Yorkshire
