“Me and my buddy,” Jackie Mandel wrote about the precious moment between her and her son, Axel Jackson Larson, on Friday, June 30, 2023. She tagged her husband, Alex Larson, in the snap.

In the photo, the mom of two is holding her son with his legs wrapped around her waist as they both smile for the camera. Jackie is a video producer with a Ph.D. in urban education.

Axel Had a Colorful Birthday This Year

Howie introduced his grandson Axel to the world with a picture of him holding the newborn on May 26, 2016, “Here’s lookin’ at my new grandson, Axel Jackson #ProudGrandpa.”

He shared that he had “raised a good germaphobe” in his daughter.

Jackie had ‘Happy Birthday’ spelled out in stand-up lettering in rainbow colors for her son’s seventh birthday this year in May. “Happy Birthday to my baby boy,” she captioned a photo of Axel giving the peace sign beside his birthday message.

Jackie and Alex are also proud parents of an older daughter, nicknamed Bunny. On an ice cream run, Jackie took photos of her daughter in May 2023, captioned, “My mini teenager.”

“You are our Terminator, and we love you with all our heart – AJx2 & Bunny,” the producer wrote on Father’s Day 2023 with a carousel of photos of her husband with their two kids.

In the second slide, Alex chills with their two kids in matching red and black flannel pajamas against a giant bear. The closing slide features the whole family casually posing for a portrait.

Why One of Howie Mandel’s Daughters Made Him Climb a Tree

Celebrities are usually armed with cutesy or outlandish anecdotes when going on a talk show. Howie Mandel upped the ante during the COVID-19 pandemic when he appeared virtually on Ellen DeGeneres‘ show.

He shared that he had “raised a good germaphobe” in his daughter, not specifying which of his two daughters, but it was creating issues for him. Due to safety precautions, he disclosed he was “not allowed to have contact with the [grand]kids.”

To spend time with his grandbabies while maintaining safe social distancing, the “America’s Got Talent” host would climb a tree and communicate with them through a window.

The then-65-year-old expressed faux concern that this alternative way to spend quality time together might have left the kids with a negative image of “Papa in the tree.”
