Its likely to be a windy festive period this year following the aftermath of Storm Pia which caused havoc across Yorkshire’s towns and cities.

And Storm Pia isn’t the only wind we will be seeing this festive season as the Met Office has issued yet another yellow weather warning for strong winds across Yorkshire. The warning is coming into force on Christmas Eve bringing with it strong, very gusty winds and some travel disruption.

Wind speeds will reach 25mph in every part of Yorkshire. Thankfully, the weather warning ends in time for Christmas Day but it is still looking to be rather bleak conditions.
