There was lots of wind and rainfall across Yorkshire this weekend with some areas seeing flooding.
As a new week is upon us, we have taken a look at how the weather forecast is looking for Monday, December 11. The weather forecast comes courtesy of The Met Office.
A summary states December 11 will be: “A drier and brighter day on the whole, with some cloud and a few further showers, but also some sunny spells for most. Winds generally light. Maximum temperature 9°C.” According to the Met Office a yellow weather warning will remain in place.

In this article, we will take a closer look at the weather forecast for major Yorkshire towns and cities. You will find the predictions for Huddersfield, Sheffield, Leeds, York and Bradford.

Huddersfield – Those in Huddersfield will be pleased to know the chance of rain is somewhat low with only a 10 per cent chance of showers. It looks like being a mostly cloudy day with temperatures expected to reach a high of 8°C.
Sheffield – Temperatures in Sheffield are expected to reach a high of 9°C. Again, there’s a low chance of rain predicted with a 10 per cent chance of showers.
Bradford – In Bradford, it looks like being a relatively bright day with, again, little expectation of rain. The highest temperature is expected to be 7°C.
York – During the course of the day, in York, there’s currently a five per cent chance of rain being predicted. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 7°C.
Leeds – In Leeds, like the rest of Yorkshire, a yellow weather warning will remain in-place. Thankfully, current estimates suggest there’s a low probability of rain. The Met Office currently predicts a five per cent chance of rain in the daytime with this going up to 10 per cent from 9pm onwards. Temperatures in Leeds are expected to reach a high of 8°C with this likely to come around 1pm.
