Morgan Eastwood only shows glimpses of her life on social media, with her Instagram page having rare posts of her and those she loves. The 25-year-old chooses to share certain parts of her life with the world; here’s more about who she is.

Morgan Eastwood, 25, is the daughter of renowned Hollywood actor and producer Clint Eastwood and Dina Eastwood, an actress and TV news anchor. Despite being born to a father with a big name in Hollywood, Morgan had a relatively normal childhood.

She’s only appeared in minor roles in her father’s films, such as “Changeling.” But in 2012, she appeared on “Mrs. Eastwood & Company,” a reality series documenting her mother’s life, Dina Eastwood.

Morgan Eastwood Was Raised Away from the Cameras

Morgan Colette Eastwood was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 12, 1996. She has a very special name that she got from her mother, Dina’s side of the family. The 25-year-old was named after her maternal grandmother, who was also called Morgan. The 25-year-old is now into producing and is known for the E! reality series “Mrs. Eastwood & Company.”

When it comes to acting, she has not landed any leading or prominent roles just yet; however, she has been cast in a few minor roles in some of her father’s films. The actress appeared as a girl on a tricycle in the 2008 film “Changeling,” which was directed and produced by her father.

She has also made an appearance in 2009’s “Johnny Mercer: The Dream’s On Me,” and some of the stars she acted alongside in the film were Julie Andrews and Jamie Cullum.

The other role that Morgan landed was when she acted alongside some of Hollywood’s well-known stars, such as Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman, and Anthony Mackie, in the film “Million Dollar Baby” in 2004.

The 25-year-old also loves posting loved-up and cozy photos of her and the special man in her life, her boyfriend, Tanner Koopmans. She lives a low-key lifestyle, especially when it comes to her private life.

Morgan prefers to keep her life relatively private, especially concerning matters of the heart. Even though it is not known when the young star started dating her boyfriend Tanner Koopmans, she often posts beautiful photos of them getting cozy.

Tanner studied at Cuesta College, where he obtained an associate of arts degree in social sciences in 2017. He further attended Loyola Marymount University, graduating with a bachelor of arts in sociology and philosophy in 2019.

He started volunteering in 2013, working as a meal prep at Carme Youth Centre Inc. and direction assistant at City to the Sea Marathon. He’s also a camp counselor for Carmel Youth Baseball.

He received an award by being honored as a member of Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society in 2019. He currently works as a Sales Consultant at Swell Energy, one of California’s leading energy storage providers.

In February 2021, the lovebirds took a road trip for Valentine’s Day and shared a series of photos and videos of them having fun. Some showed the two cozying up to each other, while another showed Koopmans grilling some dinner over a bonfire. The caption read:

Morgan’s parents Dina and Clint Eastwood, married in 1996 and for years managed to stay off of Hollywood’s glare and would often be seen in Whole Foods aisles or taking Morgan to school. Their union came to be considered not only a marriage but a close friendship as well.

However, the close relationship started to dwindle when “Mrs. Eastwood and Company” came out, with sources claiming that Clint was uncomfortable and furious with the show. Clint, who prefers to keep his private life private, was uncomfortable with having himself or his kids appear on a reality show.

In 2012, it got so bad that Clint stopped wearing his wedding ring, and even though the two continued to live in their family home in Carmel, they were living in separate rooms of the house.

She was given up for adoption by her mother and would reconnect with her father about 30 years ago.

The marriage came crumbling down by the end of 2012, with reports that Dina was leaning towards Scott Fisher, her high school sweetheart, who had just finalized his divorce from his wife of 10 years, Erica Fisher.

On learning about her ex’s relationship with Dina, Erica reached out to Clint, and in a twist of events, the two started dating. Dina was so shaken by the events that she sought help from rehab for stress. She, however, continued to date Fisher.

In 2016, the two finally made their union official and married at Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbra. They shared a series of their wedding photos, including one they took with their pet dogs and promised their fans more photos. She captioned it:

“Yep. They were our bridesmaids. Morgy was the maid of honor. More photos coming!”

Morgan Eastwood’s mother is Dina Ruiz, and she’s used to the spotlight as she has worked as a reporter and news anchor for years. The former news anchor was born in 1965 and graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California.

Dina furthered her studies by going to San Francisco State University. She majored in Radio/TV at the institution and eventually graduated in 1988. She has had various roles in the media industry after working as a reporter and news anchor for several television stations.

She started off her career in television by working as a news anchor for Ohlone College Television. She then moved on to become a reporter and anchor for KNAZ-TV before eventually ending up at KSBW as a news anchor as well.

Her parents met for the first time during an interview in 1993 and tied the knot a few years later on March 31, 1996. Soon after their daughter was born in late 1996, Dina retired from her job as a news anchor at KSBW to spend more time with her daughter Morgan.

The E! series “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” shows Dina attempting to advance the careers of a cappella boy band called Overtone. Dina discovered them in South Africa in 2008. The series also features her daughters, Morgan and Francesca.

Morgan’s mom revealed in 2012 how her husband Clint didn’t want to be filmed. She expressed that the actor and director didn’t want to be “filmed when he is not volunteering to film.”

Dina also said that if they are shooting for the series and Clint is at home, the actor “doesn’t want the camera swooping over to him.” She ended by saying they respected his wishes.

Clint Eastwood, 92, has eight kids from his marriage and flings over the years. His first child, Laurie Murray, 65, was born to Clint in his 30’s. She was given up for adoption by her mother and would reconnect with her father about 30 years ago.

Kimber, 56, is Clint’s second child with fling Roxanne Tunis. Kyle, 52, and Alison, 48, were born during Clint’s first marriage to Maggie Johnson. Scott, 34, and Kathryn, 312, were born from Clint’s fling with Jacelyn Reeves.

Francesca, 27, was born to Frances Fisher, who was Clint’s girlfriend, while the youngest of the bunch, Morgan Eastwood, 25, is Clint’s second wife, Dina.
