People assumed it could only be via a surrogate because of her age. At the same time, others wanted to know if she carried the baby and disguised her pregnancy. Even with the arrival of her daughter, Campbell was very private.

Since the supermodel has not revealed any information about how she welcomed her two children, medical experts have weighed in to figure out some of the possibilities for someone her age.

Professor Luciano Nardo, Founder & CEO of NOW-fertility.com, explained that after 30, there is a decline in the quality of eggs for women. Even those in their 20s only have one in three chance of fertilization per cycle compared to a one in five for women in their 30s.

Therefore, there is a possibility that the mother of two could have frozen her eggs previously and gotten a sperm donor that would create an embryo and get implanted via IVF.

However, there is also a chance that Campbell could have carried her son, even though there were no signs of a baby bump in her recent public appearance.

The model attended the latest Louis Vuitton (LV) menswear fashion show supporting her friend Pharrell William. She wore an all-leather LV outfit with a matching mini dress, jacket, and boots, but there was no sign of her being pregnant.

Campbell also attended the Cannes Film Festival in May, wearing a figure-hugging gold sparkly dress with a plunging neckline, with no baby bump in sight. Despite the slim chances of women having children in their fifties, Professor Nardo said the numbers get higher when they use eggs from younger women.

Nonetheless, Campbell could have stored her eggs during her reproductive life, and according to Nardo, it is best to freeze them before age 35.

The process involved taking education to help mature the eggs and get them ready for harvesting. From there, they are put through a fast freezing process that will keep them intact for a long period of time.

While some followers worried about the supermodel welcoming a child at her age, her friends were delighted on her behalf and expressed all their love in her post.

The mother of two received many congratulatory messages from her celebrity friends, including Cindy Crawford, who said she could not wait to meet the baby boy. Kelly Rowland also wrote, ‘NAOMI!!! Congratulations!!’ and Alessandra Ambrosio added, “So happy for you! Welcome, baby boy.”

Before Campbel welcomed her first child, she had already hinted that she was considering having children without giving away too much information.
