Ncuti Gatwa will be starring in the forthcoming stacked “Barbie” movie. The actor has impressed on the small screen, picking up successive roles. Another thing he seems to be lifting very often is gym weights, as he flexes his physique in an Instagram post.

Kigali, Rwanda-born actor Ncuti Gatwa, known for starring as Eric Effiong in “Sex Education,” posted to Instagram a couple of days ago to show off his gym progress. The actor’s two-and-a-half million followers were treated to a three-piece post from his gym session.
In the post, Gatwa is seen capturing two selfies in the wall-size gym mirror and smiling beside his fitness coach for a group picture in the second slide. Of course, Gatwa’s fans expressed their thoughts on his physique, with many impressed by his great shape.

Gatwa tagged his London-based personal trainer David Higgins on the second slide of his post. The trainer has worked with stars like long-married Samuel L. Jackson, J Lo’s lover, Ben Affleck, and many more.
Gatwa wrote in the caption, “Sessions with the [personal trainer] just involve taking selfies while he trains 🏋🏿♂️.” A humorous shout-out to the backing he gets from Higgins. His fans chirped in to support—one could not help but admit, “I zoomed” to get a closer look.
Another one of Gatwa’s fans wrote a comment explaining that they now understand why the actor did not want to keep a shirt on and admitted they would do the same if they had his shape. One supporter said the actor lied in the caption, implying that it took more for Gatwa to get those abs.

Other fans were amazed by Gatwa’s body, so much so that one believed the Rwandan was the first doctor with abs. Gatwa is not known to be an actual doctor in reality, but he was cast as the 15th Doctor in “Doctor Who” alongside Millie Gibson.
The hit-ET TV series will be making a return later this year. With the trailer already released, fans are excited about the Doctor’s upcoming performance. Speaking of the forthcoming series, the showrunner said, “We’re giving you a year to speculate, and then all hell lets loose.”

Gatwa is also cast as Ken in the upcoming adventure comedy “Barbie” with several of his “Sex Education” co-stars. This has fans excited about the reuniting of Gatwa with Connor Swindells and Emma Mackey, who play Ada Groff and Maeve Wiley in “Sex Education.”
The forthcoming “Barbie” movie has a star-studded cast, including Dua Lipa, Ryan Gosling, and Margot Robbie. The film is set to be released on July 21 this year.
