‘OMG’: Penny from ‘Big Bang Theory’ Welcomes 1st Baby Shows Her Face 10 Months after Difficult Divorce

Kaley Cuoco, the star of the hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” shared a picture of her newborn daughter and revealed her name. The actress had not had the best of luck with love, but she fell in love at first sight with actor Tom Pelphrey.

Kaley Cuoco, also known as Penny from the hit series “Big Bang Theory,” has had a few ups and downs in her romantic life.

The actress had a whirlwind romance with tennis player Ryan Sweeting. They made their public appearance at the 2013 Emmys, and after just three months of dating, the couple was engaged.

A source said Cuoco knew they hadn’t been dating for long, but she knew he was the one and could not get enough of her beautiful ring. This was the actress’ first marriage, and Cuoco had no doubts about taking the step with Sweeting.

The couple married in December 2013 in Santa Susanna, California, but their union was short-lived. Cuoco announced their separation in 2015, and their divorce was finalized the following year.

Although their marriage was meant to be an exciting adventure since it was the first one for both of them, things did not pan out how they expected. Cuoco and Sweeting quickly realized they had little in common.

However, thanks to the actress’s airtight prenup, she got out of the marriage without sacrificing the $72 million she got from “Big Bang Theory,” their Tarzana, California home, and the beach house they owned in Malibu.

Cuoco was only issued a once-off payment of $165,000 and a $200,000 bill to the tennis players’ trainers. But what stayed with Sweeting was the prominent tattoo of Cuoco’s name on his forearm.

After her split from the athlete, Cuoco met Karl Cook, an accomplished equestrian from a billionaire family, in 2016.

Cook popped the question on Cuoco’s 32nd birthday in 2017, and they were married by June 2018. Unfortunately, their marriage also did not last; by 2021, it was announced that the couple had gone their separate ways.

The end of her second marriage was challenging for Cuoco. “Going through my divorce, it was really a dark time.” the actress confessed.

She admitted that she struggled to deal with the separation and threw herself into work, trying to deny the depression and sadness she felt.

To make things worse, Cuoco played Cassandra Bowden in the series “Flight Attendant,” which was also a depressed character, so it did not help her heal.

The divorce was finalized in 2022. During an interview, Cuoco clarified that she was never getting married but would like a long-term relationship.

The actress found love again with the star of “Ozark” Tom Pelphrey. The couple publicly appeared at producer Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and laughed together throughout the event.

Cuoco and Pelphrey went from being girlfriend and boyfriend to being parents to their newborn baby girl, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, whom they welcomed on March 3, 2023.

The actress shared the good news on her Instagram with an adorable picture of her daughter and called her a little miracle. The “Big Bang Theory” star thanked the doctors and nurses for helping her deliver a healthy baby and for their support as she adjusted to being a new mother.

Cuoco did not forget to highlight her boyfriend, too. She wrote, “We are blessed beyond belief. @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”

Pelphrey also commemorated the special day with a photo of him holding his daughter with Cuoco. He expressed his gratitude to his partner for being brave throughout the process and bringing their miracle baby to the world.

Joseph was right; from the moment the couple locked eyes, Cuoco said the connection was instant, and it felt like they had known each other for years. “It was like the angels started singing. I was like, ‘Hallelujah!’ It was very magical … it was perfect.” she gushed.

The couple made their relationship Instagram official in May. The “Ozark” actor posted a polaroid picture with a long heartwarming caption. On the other hand, Cuoco shared a carousel of images and included moments from the mountain getaway.

By October 2022, the couple announced they were expecting a daughter. They shared the news with a picture of them holding mugs with “mama bear” and “papa bear” printed on them. The actress captioned the post with, “Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023 beyond blessed and over the moon… I [love] you @tommypelphrey!!!”

Cuoco shared another funny picture of her boyfriend carrying a tone of beach supplies and said he was already getting into “dad mode.” Now the couple gets to busk in the joy of being parents.
