When Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne sat down with “Good Morning America,” she said that her husband has “PRKN 2,” which is an early onset of the disorder, per the National Library of Medicine. “There’s so many different types of Parkinson’s,” Sharon explained. She said Ozzy has “a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day.” Sadly, over the past couple of years, the bad days have started outweighing the good ones.

In an August 28 interview with The Guardian, Ozzy said he’s suffered blood clots, extreme depression and crippling nerve pain. “You know when you’re a kid, and you’re playing with snow, and your hands get really cold? Then you go in, and you pour on hot water, and they start getting warm? And you get those chills? And it f***ing hurts? It’s like that,” he explained.

Ozzy admitted that the pain became so severe at one point that he didn’t want to carry on living. He detailed the impact Parkinson’s has had on his ability to control body parts and walk. “You think you’re lifting your feet, but your foot doesn’t move,” Ozzy shared. “I feel like I’m walking around in lead boots.” Meanwhile, the couple’s love for each other is still as strong as on day one. Ozzy and Sharon shared a sweet throwback pic in July to celebrate four decades of marital battles and bliss. “40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary, My Love,” the performer captioned the photo.
