Phoebe Dynevor’s Dating History Includes Only 3 Confirmed Relationships

Actress Phoebe Dynevor caught the attention of fans with her character’s exhilarating love story in the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton.” However, unlike on the screen, where Daphne was in a relationship with one man, Dynevor’s dating history in real life is a bit longer.

Phoebe Harriet Dynevor is a British actress. She was born on April 17, 1995, in Manchester, England. Her parents were involved in the television industry, which influenced her to start acting at a young age. She began working professionally at 14 and appeared in several TV series before her big break in 2020 with “Bridgerton.”

Her romantic life has also been as exciting as her appearances on TV. The young actress has been involved with several men, most of them fellow TV and film personalities. Although her dating history is not long, it does include some heavy hitters, including the most recent rumor involving Andrew Garfield.

Simon Merrill

Dynevor’s first public relationship was way back in 2014 when she was linked to Simon Merrill. The then-19-year-old was still in the early days of her acting career and was appearing in the second season of BBC’s television drama, “The Village.” She described a trip she took with Merrill in 2016, saying:

“Last year my boyfriend and I went around Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. It was amazing. He’s half Thai. And we went to his family’s village. His grandma, aunt and uncle are still there, and it was a really incredible experience.”

Merrill was a recruitment executive at the time he was dating Dynevor. Although it is unclear when their relationship ended, it was before the spring of 2017 when she confirmed on Instagram that she was dating Sean Teale.

In early 2017, Dynevor began dating fellow British actor Teale. There is not much information about how the couple came to be. Nevertheless, they regularly posted about each other on their social media accounts, where they confirmed their relationship in the spring of 2017.

Teale was born in London, England, on June 18, 1992. Growing up in London, he was very active in sports but chose to pursue an acting career just before he sat for his A levels. His acting debut came in 2010 in a short film starring Tom Hardy. He gained more attention through his roles in “Skins” and the sci-fi movie “The Gifted.”

Teale got into a relationship with Dynevor after splitting from Adelaide Kane. However, their relationship was very short-lived, with their last photo together posted just a few months after they had confirmed their relationship status on Instagram. Still, the couple seemed very passionate about their love, albeit for a short time.

Pete Davidson

Her passionate on-screen romance with Regé-Jean Page in Bridgerton aroused rumors that Dynevor was also in an offscreen relationship with Page. However, this was not the case. Instead, Dynevor is said to have gotten into a relationship with “Saturday Night Live’s” Pete Davidson right about that time.

Although the timeline of their romance is not very clear, it has been largely speculated that they got to know each other through Page after his one-night appearance on “SNL” alongside Davidson in February 2021. A month later, Davidson was spotted in Altrincham, around the same time Dynevor was also seen in the same town.

A source told The Sun that Davidson had flown into the UK to visit his newfound love. They are said to have begun a relationship shortly afterward. However, the relationship was predominantly long-distance due to their residence in different countries. Still, they were reported to be content with that as they were not in any rush.

In April 2021, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the rumored couple wore similar necklaces while appearing in separate interviews. The jewelry displayed the initials ‘PD’, which could just be a reference to their names. However, the coincidence that they would wear a similarly styled necklace left some people wondering.

After months of speculation, the duo was finally seen together for the first time. In photographs in The Daily Mail, the young couple was spotted going into a supermarket in Stoke-on-Trent. Later, they were spotted walking arm in arm. The British actress was in Stoke for the filming of “The Colour Room.”

Dynevor and Davidson soon made their first public appearance at the Wimbledon Championships. They appeared to be in good spirits, cuddling here and there. However, their relationship ran its course just a month later. The long-distance factor is said to have taken its toll on their young love.

Andrew Garfield

The most recent news surrounding Dynevor’s romantic life is that love is brewing between the actress and the adorable “Spiderman” portrayer, Andrew Garfield. The duo is said to have clicked right after meeting at GQ’s Men of the Year Awards in 2022. A source revealed:

“Andrew and Phoebe clicked straight away, there was an immediate attraction. They know each other through various acquaintances in the business and have plenty in common. After leaving together, they’ve since met up and are acting like a proper couple.”

The two are noted to have been inseparable ever since. However, they have not yet had any photographs taken together. Furthermore, the actor and actress have not addressed the speculation about their suspected relationship, nor have any of their official representatives made any comments.

Still, the relationship looks set to be the talk of the town. If the rumors do end up being true, it would arguably be Phoebe Dynevor‘s most high-profile relationship, considering the fame that comes with Garfield’s profile as one of Hollywood’s top male actors over the last decade or so.
