Queen’s Death May Result in Meghan Harry Being Separated or Having a ‘Commuter Arrangement,’ Claims Expert

After more than a year away from the royal palace, royal researcher Tina Brown claimed that the Queen’s future death might lead Harry back to his roots, causing a long-distance marriage between the Prince and his wife. 

Since his birth, Prince Harry’s life has been under constant watch. He is not only a royal but the youngest son of one of the monarchy’s most loved princesses, Diana.

Over the years, Harry has grown from a recalcitrant teenager, damning palace protocols, to a family man with two kids, following his union with an unlikely lover, Meghan Markle, an American divorcee and actress with African-American roots.

This is not the first time the palace would witness a romance between an odd couple. While it holds a similar theme to Princess Margaret’s love interest—a divorcee (they never married) and Prince Charles’ matchmaking with a 20-year-old virgin, Harry’s love tale is the bravest.

In 2018, the Queen gave her blessings to her grandson’s marriage to the Hollywood star, and one-time biracial divorce, solidifying the proof that the monarchy’s ultimate goal is to survive.

THE BEGINNING OF HARRY AND MARKLE’S JOURNEY TO FOREVER

Neither Harry nor Markle knew about each other’s history before the meeting. Yet while they came from two very separate worlds, their hearts merged as one almost as soon as they met.

They were paired for a blind date by a mutual friend, and after the first date night, their relationship progressed into one of the most talked-about romances in history!

A few months later, Harry introduced his lover to his family. After the acceptance from family members, the lover boy surprised his American girlfriend by proposing at his home in Kensington Palace.

It was such a mesmerizing moment, as an all-excited Markle barely waited for him to finish before saying yes. Harry sweetly recalled that they hugged before he brought out the stunning rock. Harry customized the engagement ring.

It was a yellow band featuring two rocks Diana owned and a center diamond from Botswana. Markle saw the design as Harry’s thoughtfulness. The couple had camped in Botswana, cementing their relationship after they met, and this provided them with a unique experience.

So having a precious stone from the country, plus two from his deceased mother, was mind-blowing. The duo displayed extreme pride and confidence in their decision to get married. Harry confirmed that he was excited, while his bride-to-be was “very happy.”

Following the uniqueness of their background and personalities, it was evident that Prince Harry’s relationship with Markle would exhibit tendencies of drama, as opposed to his older brother Prince William. 

An insider opined that the couple is “addicted to drama,” and experts likened Harry’s temperament to his maternal relatives, the Spencers, who have been described as a “hot-headed, impetuous family with a lot of swashbuckling drama.”

They tagged them as the Windsors to William and Kate, always trying to douse the fire and never quick to begin any drama.

One of such dramas was when they shocked the world and relatives with their exit from the royal family in the new year.

The couple shared a post via their Instagram account, expressing their sadness, adding that it was a necessary move.

Tina Brown, a royal researcher, maintained that the couple could have exited more graciously instead of the surprise stunt they pulled.

Brown added that a royal staff told her everyone knew that Harry would leave someday because of his personality; he was never happy in the palace. However, what did not sit right was how it happened.

After their exit, the couple had an honest conversation with Oprah Winfrey, where they talked about their time at the royal palace. 

One of the few reasons the couple gave for their exit was racism. At first, it was the diversity problem, as she did not meet someone with a similar background as hers, but as time went by, the actress began to feel isolated.

When she reached out for help, the palace refused to help her, and the thought of rejection from where she now called homemade her suicidal.

Harry and Markle observed the situation and decided that it was better for their offspring to have a life away from the monarchy. They were new parents to their son, Archibald, and did not want him to witness the constraints.

In the same interview, Brown explained that their dramatic decision was a “disaster all around.” According to her, neither Harry nor the royals gained from their exit.

Brown added that Markle failed to counsel her husband correctly, concluding that it was a bad decision. However, she mentioned that their exit created a vacuum no one could fill because they were the stars of the family.

The writer also talked about how Harry almost took his mother’s place in the hearts of the Britons, and when he brought his wife, they all accepted him.

Now that things have gone bad, and they are no longer around the palace to wave at the crowd and bring on their star power, Brown thinks that it will affect the crown badly, especially since the Queen is frail and aging—people would not feel fulfilled seeing Prince Andrew waving in their stead.

Despite the severed relationship between Harry, his father, and his brother, the Prince has maintained a closeness with his grandmother.

In a recent interview, he refused to comment about whether he missed his family in Britain but revealed that he frequently talks with the Queen.

However, Harry said that he is not certain about his visit to the country to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee in June. According to him, home is now the US, and he is overwhelmed by the ongoing security rows in the UK’s Home Office.

Queen Elizabeth II remains the longest-serving British monarch and is set to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee this year. She has served for seventy years and been through administrations ruled by several prime ministers.

Brown opined that the British people would experience an identity crisis when the Queen dies. She also added that this would mean Harry’s presence in the country displayed servitude.

Consequently, Harry would come alone, as his wife does not like England. This departure would also mean that the couple would enter into a commuter arrangement to have a long-distance marriage.

As for who would take over the throne, Brown believes that Charles will do a perfect job because he is an exemplary leader who has gained experience through his years in the palace.

While many are pessimistic about his leadership, and his popularity is much lower than the Queen’s, Brown confidently talks about how much of a better ruler he is than the next in line, William.

The royal researcher also talked about how Charles has been in the shadow of his mother. While she maintains confidence in his leadership, Brown explained that the future king has always lived in the shadow of his mother and son.

She explained that people would rather long to hear about the Queen, and when it should have been over, following his reign, his sons’ lives and wives are more appealing to hear.
