On November 6, only one day after Aaron Carter’s tragic death, actor Raven-Symoné publicly reacted to the awful news and issued an urgent warning to the masses.

“We crossed circles multiple times within the music industry,” Raven revealed to ET about her connection to Aaron while in attendance at a premiere event for the upcoming comedy series, “The Santa Clauses.” She added, “My heart goes out to Nick [Carter]. It’s such a tragedy.” But she didn’t stop there. Raven also issued a strong call to action. “I think we really do need to get the world in order, so we can start focusing on mental health. It’s a real thing, and we need to stop losing our youth to it,” she declared. “Maybe one day people will get the hint,” she added. “It’s just a part of our everyday life to have check ups, mentally, and help our society out.”

RIP Aaron Carter.
