Southern Charm has sparked several spinoffs over the years, but Southern Charm: Savannah might’ve been the most dramatic.
The spinoff Savannah debuted in 2017 and concluded after two seasons in 2018. The show revolved around a circle of friends residing in a Georgia city, notably featuring couples like Catherine “Coop” Cooper and Lyle Mackenzie, as well as Hannah Pearson and Louis Oswald.
Despite showcasing their lavish high-society routines with extravagant parties and elaborate fundraisers, it was the rollercoaster relationships that captivated the audience. The series finale, which aired in September 2018, depicted the group commemorating Savannah’s 250th anniversary aboard a steamboat, leading to dramatic moments.
Following a rocky journey to St. Barths in the prior episode, Pearson and Oswald decided to take an actual break. On the other hand, Cooper and Mackenzie made a decision to cohabit, despite her past rejection of his proposal. (Spoiler alert: the arrangement was short-lived.)
