Former football player and six-time WWE world champion Roman Reigns is a loving husband and a doting dad to five children. Roman Reigns’ wife, Galina Becker, is the woman who’s helped him build his happily-ever-after.

The couple, who have been together for at least 15 years, are fiercely protective of their children and shield their personal lives, but here is what we know about Galina Becker Anoa’i and her relationship with the champ.

Leati Joseph Anoa’i, better known to his fans as Roman Reigns, was born on May 25, 1985, in Pensacola, Florida. The wrestler is of Samoan, English, and Italian ancestry and comes from a family where wrestling is a tradition.

During high school and college, Roman played football, and in 2007, he went on to play for the Minnesota Vikings. His football career was derailed when he was diagnosed with leukemia during his team physical. Reigns still played football until 2008, but in 2010 he joined the family business: wrestling.

Roman is a wrestling phenomenon with six championship belts to his credit. Still, he has also tried his hand at acting, like his relative, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, with voice and acting credits in “The Jetsons & WWE,” “2Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw,” and “The Wrong Missy.”

The right missy for Roman is Galina Becker, whom he met when they were both studying management at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and has been his one and only ever since.

Born in March 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida, Galina is an accomplished athlete. She competed in the 100-meter dash, athletic hurdles, triple jump, and long jump in high school and college. She was awarded the coveted title of “Most Valuable Performer.”

The athlete became a fitness model and made television appearances after graduating college. But when she fell pregnant with her first child with Roman, she stopped modeling to focus on her family.

Roman and Galina welcomed their daughter Joelle in 2008. It was a complicated time for the couple since Roman had been diagnosed with leukemia after Galina fell pregnant and was fighting for his life.

The Couple Had Disney-Themed Wedding

When they first met, Galina and Roman became friends, and the friendship later developed into a romance. In 2012, the couple became engaged and finally married on December 6, 2014.

The ceremony took place at Disney’s Castaway Cay Island in the Bahamas, and the wedding theme was, of course, Disney. Their daughter, Joelle, then six years old, surely approved.

In 2016, Roman and Galina welcomed a set of twin boys, but the couple has kept them out of public view and hasn’t even shared their names. Then in April 2020, Roman dropped a bombshell in an interview in response to a question about his three children:

“3 with 2 in the oven. So, I’m looking to be a Papa Bear of 5! Breaking news! We haven’t shared that.”

The couple welcomed their new babies in 2020 but haven’t shared the children’s names or even their genders. Unlike many celebrity parents, Roman and Galina protect their children from the attention of the press. If one of the children follows in their dad’s footsteps, we may yet see another generation of Anoa’is in the ring.
