Roseanne Barr Turns 70: She Has New Changed Life as Grandma of 7

“Blue In The Face” actress Roseanne Barr just celebrated her 70th birthday. She commemorated the milestone at her home in Hawaii, where she lives with her longtime partner Johnny Argent.

For her big day, which she celebrated on November 3, nature gave the actress a gorgeous gift in the form of a rainbow that appeared over her house.

“My Birthday rainbow over my house on my birthday!” She quipped on Instagram, alongside a breathtaking photo of her home with a rainbow cast over it. The actress has lived in her Honokaa, Hawaii home for years after purchasing the home, set on a vast 46-acre plot in 2007.

The actress appears to enjoy the quiet life away from the spotlight and often gives her fans peeks and glimpses of the home, which was a museum before she refurbished it into the gorgeous abode it is today.

Barr spends plenty of time with her family, some of who also live in Hawaii. In fact, one of her daughters lives a few doors down from Barr, and they are lucky enough to spend plenty of time together.

How Did Roseanne Find Happiness with Her Beloved at 50 after Being a Single Mom of 5?

Barr’s journey to finding true love has been tumultuous. She became a first-time mom at 18 after giving birth to her daughter Brandi Brown. The little girl was later adopted, after which Barr fell in love with Bill Pentland.

They married in 1974 and had a daughter, Jessica, in 1975. Soon after, they welcomed their second baby, daughter Jennifer, followed by their youngest son, Jake, in 1978.

The pair were wonderful parents to their three babies, but unfortunately, their partnership was not as fulfilling for either, so they divorced in 1990.

Two years before the imminent divorce, Barr reconnected with her daughter Brandy. Barr then moved on with Tom Arnold but did not have any children together. They were together for four years before splitting up in 1994.

Barr married Ben Thomas the following year, and they welcomed their son Buck in 1995. Barr became a mother of five. Unfortunately, her marriage ended in 2002, but she remained as dedicated to her children as ever.

Luckily, Barr found her one true love in her partner Johnny Argent after the two began dating in 2003. They have remained together for the past two decades and are still as happy as they were all those years ago.

How Did Roseanne’s Life Change after She Became a Grandma?

Nothing mattered more to Barr than being a wonderful mother to her children. But when she gained another title as a grandmother, her life changed.

She is the proud grandmother to Jennifer’s five sons with her husband, Jeff. Jennifer and her family live close by, so the actress spends plenty of time with her grandbabies and loves it!

In 2018, she told Extra TV that she was a proud grandmother to six grandkids, though it remains unclear who the sixth is.

As it stands, she is now a grandmother of seven after her son Jake welcomed a baby girl in April 2021. The actress posted cute photos of her newest grandbaby shortly after she was born.

One photo was of the little girl lying down bundled up cozily with a pacifier in her mouth, while the other showed the little girl in her parent’s arms, captioned:

“New family, my son and new daughter and their gorgeous babe.”

The actress could not have been prouder of her new title as a doting grandma and noted how much it had changed her life.

Speaking to Extra TV, the “She-Devil” actress disclosed that she has become pushier with her kids now that they are parents as she wants them to do right by their own kids.
