Caan Once Opened Up About His Girlfriend

In January 2013, Scott spoke publicly about his girlfriend Kacy on Chelsea Handler’s “Chelsea Lately” talk show. He joked that she should be given a purple heart — a military decoration given to wounded or killed soldiers serving the United States Army. He continues to reason that he is “a complete disaster.”

The couple lived together in Hawaii while Scott worked on the CBS series, “Hawaii Five-0.” The actor revealed that life in Hawaii was too “relaxed” for his liking and lacked the “Hustle” he desired. He added that everything moved slowly on the island and suggested that things become active after his first move.

In 2014, one of Scott’s representatives revealed that he was expecting his first child with Kacy. Josie, their first neonate, was born in July 2014. Their child was born shortly after the news broke, and a source clarified that it was not a private matter, but the news was concealed because Kacy was busy with business.

They Welcomed a Daughter in 2014

US Weekly confirmed the birth of Scott and Kacy’s child. The actor was a couple of years into his relationship with Kacy, who worked in the costume and wardrobe department of “Hawaii Five-0” for three years. Her work with the CBS series spanned over 69 episodes.

When Scott returned to the CBS set, the excited first-time father received warm cheers from the staff and indulged in celebratory cigar smoking with his costar Alex O’Loughlin. His father, James Caan, with whom he shares a close relationship, was also delighted by the birth of his granddaughter.

The babe, born on July 9, 2014, was given her now-deceased grandfather’s name as a middle name. James spoke about his grandchildren during an interview and ended his comment with high praise for Josie, saying, “My little granddaughter is amazing; she’s brilliant, and she’s the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.”

They Are Very Private about Their Life

Scott met his baby’s mother on the set of “Hawaii Five-0.” The pair hit it off and have been an item ever since. Although a source close to the actor revealed that the pregnancy was not a secret, it is common knowledge that Scott leads a sheltered life.

Furthermore, the actor and his partner were not responsible for breaking the news of their pregnancy. They continued to live together in Hawaii due to Scott’s daily filming on the CBS series, presumably until 2020, when the show’s terminal episode was released.

Scott hails from a family of Hollywood personalities, with both parents being actors. His father’s siblings were also involved in film, making a mark on the production side. The “Ocean’s Eleven” star has several half-siblings from his parents’ other marriages.

When Scott was a year old, his parents underwent a divorce that deemed his father responsible for child support worth $3000 a month for five years; followed by $1000 per month until Scott became an adult.
