The clip showed Doherty in a hospital bed in a gown, cap, and face mask listening to the medical staff explaining the medical procedure she was about to undergo. The actress could be seen listening intently at the specifics of the procedure with her hands patiently folded in her lap. The caption read:

“January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy. I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified. The fear was overwhelming to me … This is what cancer can look like.”

Doherty was undoubtedly pleased to hear that her surgery had been successful, although there were still a few more obstacles in her path that would test her fortitude. Amid her recovery from cancer, the actress recently filed for divorce from her husband, Kurt Iswarienko.
