Single Dad Puts on Wig Dress for Mother’s Day Event at School to Make His Adopted Daughter Happy

The 48-year-old dad, who also worked at the school as a teacher, decided to wear a dress and a wig to the occasion. In a video, students’ moms sat in rows while they knelt on the floor.

For Mr. Lookphonbodee, being present and aware of his daughter’s feelings was a way for him to show her his love.

When the girl looked up from the ground, she was surprised to see her dad seated before her, dressed in a plaid dress. She hugged him tightly and tried to stop tears from streaming down her face.

The proud dad posted the video on social media, saying: “Mom, I can be you.” Cream didn’t have a mother figure, but it didn’t matter to her because her dad was all that and more.

Mr. Lookphonbodee never wants her daughter to feel inferior. Each time the school organizes events involving students’ moms, he always shows up to remind her daughter that she isn’t alone. He said:

“Personally, I’m not ashamed because I love my child. And we do fun activities together as usual.”

After the ordeal went viral, Cream also gushed about her dad’s effort. She expressed her love and appreciation, saying nothing was lacking in her life because she had him.

Cream described her dad’s Mother’s Day outfit as “cute” and “beautiful.” She couldn’t help but smile each time she remembered what he did for her.

Cream’s dad, Mr. Lookphonbodee, is her school’s physical education and health education teacher. He is lovingly known as “Teacher Joe” to his students.

Mr. Lookphonbodee adopted Cream as a single parent and has affectionately raised her in a good environment. They travel to Ban Noen Kroi School in the Kamphaeng Phet province in Thailand, where they both spend the day as student and teacher, respectively.
