STEVEN BAUER’S RELATIONSHIP WITH 40-YEAR YOUNGER LYDA LOUDON

Although Bauer’s acting career has been outstanding, his love life has raised eyebrows over the years. His relationship with Lyda Loudon sparked debate due to their vast age difference.

Loudon and Bauer made public their relationship on July 21, 2014, when they attended the “Magic in the Moonlight” premiere at the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood, California. Back then, he was 57, and she was 18.

She described herself on Twitter as a journalist, host of “Sarcasm Overdose,” and a film, music, and espresso addict. Now, Loudon labels herself as branding, communications, and marketing enthusiast.

While some people believe that age is just a number, others consider that there should be a limit, especially in romances. Bauer and Loudon’s relationship seemingly crossed it.

Bauer revealed that he and Loudon had faced criticism for their 40-year age gap, but not from “anyone interesting” as his family loved her, and she loved them back.

The “Scarface” star pointed out that he and Loudon had something “special,” adding that she positively impacted his life. She made him discover beneficial lifestyle habits that led him to lose 30 pounds.

It was not the first time that Loudon, daughter of former Missouri State Senator John Loudon, made headlines. When she was 14, she founded Tea Party Youth, a charity dedicated to the “Tea Party’s future.”

Before Loudon, Bauer was married four times. His first wife was “Working Girls” star Melanie Griffith. The former couple tied the knot in 1981 after falling in love on the set of “She’s In The Army Now.”

Their only son together, Alexander, joined their family in 1985. While he is not an actor, he has writing credits in the 2013 film “Kazoos on First” and worked as a gaffer in 2015’s “Holding.”

Sadly, Steven Bauer’s spouse struggled with drugs and alcohol. Her issues were too much for him to bear, and they parted ways in 1989. While Bauer and Griffith’s separation was not amicable, they eventually made amends.

The acting duo even posed together at the premiere of Griffith’s 2013 film “Dark Tourist” in Los Angeles, and they looked like good friends.

Shortly after leaving Griffith, Bauer walked down the aisle with “Hercules” actress Ingrid Anderson. In 1990, they welcomed Dylan, who became an author, tarot card reader, and spiritualist.

Bauer and Anderson’s son was not enough to keep them together, and they divorced in 1991, meaning that it was his shortest marriage.

Steven Bauer’s spouse after Anderson was Christiana Boney. The former couple met when Bauer and Anderson were still arranging their divorce.

Although they were married for ten years – his longest relationship – they had no kids together. In 2002, Bauer and Boney called it quits. Bauer moved on quickly and married Paulette Miltimore in 2003, but they divorced in 2012.
