Strictly’s Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell were forced to respond on Sunday night after fans of the BBC dancing competition noticed a problem between them and host Claudia Winkleman addressed it.

This week, Eastenders star Bobby had said he was ‘falling in love’ with Australian pro partner Dianne Buswell but during the show on Saturday, Dianne appeared emotional and even shed a tear, leading fans to question if something had upset them behind the scenes.

And on Sunday night’s results show, Claudia Winkleman asked them the question in the post-dance mini interviews while they waited for the dance-off between Jody Cundy and Eddie Kadi.

Claudia Winkleman said to Bobby and Dianne: “Bobby, tell me about your favourite part of the week.”

Bobby replied: “Oh, yeah… watching everybody dance from up here. It’s especially when people smash it. Especially Eddie as well. Seeing everybody’s work coming together and then leaving it on the dancefloor.”

Claudia then added: “You were quite sad there when Eddie was announced because you two get on so brilliantly. I’m sorry to bring it up again but as the competition goes on it gets hard right?”

Bobby replied: “Yeah I’ve got a lot to say about Eddie. He’s such a sweetheart, he’s a nice person to be around and whenever I want to let something off my chest about training or something, Eddie’s the first person I message.

“Like ‘Dianne is driving me nuts!”, he added jokingly.

Fortunately for Bobby, he was spared further heartache because Eddie was unanimously saved by the judges, who chose to send home Jody and Jowita instead.
