Strictly Come Dancing’s Vito Coppola has admitted he was ‘jealous’ of Ellie Leach’s new dance partner after the live mics picked up an admission during their latest high scoring routine.
Coronation Street’s Faye Windass star Ellie and pro dance partner Vito Coppola picked up 36 out of 40 for their latest routine inspired by Beauty and The Beast on Saturday.
But speaking to Janette Manrara tonight, Vito admitted he was ‘jealous’ of the new dance partner Ellie had for the role and told her to ‘stop’.

Janette Manrara began by asking why Vito was wearing shorts in December with his legs out, before revealing she had her pins on show too.
Ellie and Vito then descended into squabbling as Ellie claimed she was going to wear hers.
Janette then added: “Oh I’ve started a domestic, all right all right all right.
“Clearly you were jealous of her dancing with someone else.”

Vito replied: “I mean she was enjoying it so much I was like okay, okay, okay… stop!
“But honestly it was amazing.”
Vito then was shown a clip where the microphones picked up what he was saying to Ellie during their routine.

He had shouted on stage during the live show: “Look at her, look that’s my girl, I am in love!” in a moment picked up by the mics on the dancers during the routine on the night.
Elllie said: “It makes me feel really proud. I realised we were getting good scores but when you look at that, it’s incredible.”
This weekend the pair will dance a cha cha cha to Bette Middler’s Mambo Italiano.
