BBC Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas made a shocking confession about Anton Du Beke on Thursday night’s (December 14) episode of spin-off show It Takes Two leaving viewers stunned.
The confession left viewers questioning if Shirley was ‘drunk’ or ‘high’ after she revealed that her one wish was to be able to dance with Anton on the show. But it isn’t as simple as it sounds, as the head judge revealed her fantasy involves Anton dancing in a ‘silk shirt’ with her in a ‘see through dress’.
When asked by a viewer which of the previous Strictly Come Dancing winners she would most like to dance with, Shirley answered: “It would have to be Anton Du Beke. I see him in a very loose silk shirt, I see myself in a see through chiffon dress with no shoes, dancing a contemporary number in each other’s face, adorning around one another.

“That is my wish, to dance with Anton Du Beke on the show.” Speechless viewers took to X to share their shock at the head judge’s comments. One viewer wrote: ‘Has Shirley been drinking, she wants to dance contemporary with Anton..’, and another said: “Dancing contemporary with Anton, is she HIGH?!”
Another shocked viewer wrote: “OMG… She’s got the hots for Anton.” Aside from revealing her deepest fantasies, Shirley also gave her verdict on the three remaining couples as they go forward into the final next weekend.
She said: “Don’t underestimate Bobby, Layton’s coming in with all the strength and Ellie is determined to win as the last woman standing.” The Strictly Come Dancing Final will air on Saturday December 16 at 7pm on BBC One.
