The excitement of Christmas might be waning but we still have the celebrations of New Year’s Eve and Day to enjoy.

And with that, comes another round of hosting for families and friends up and down and across Yorkshire.

Below is a list of opening times for some of the main supermarkets over the coming days – and closing times for those that have decided to stay closed on January 1.

  • New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31: 9.30am to 4pm

  • New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1: Closed

  • New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1: 9am to 6pm or Closed depending on store
