Susan Sarandon Gets Engagement Video from Lookalike Daughter Years after Helping Her Cope with Divorce

In 2019, Eva Amurri shocked everyone when she announced that she and her husband, Kyle Martino, were divorcing. After eight years of marriage, the breakup was even more unexpected since the couple was due to receive their third child together.

However, Amurri was blessed because she had the support of her famous mother, Susan Sarandon, 76, in 2023. A source claimed Kyle’s ex-wife had the complete support of the “Dead Man Walking” actress and was there for her.

On October 29, 2011, Amurri and Kyle married before welcoming their daughter Marlowe and son Major. Their third child was expected in the spring of 2020, and the former couple was luckily willing to end things as friends and to co-parent.

Speaking about their separation, Sarandon’s daughter confessed that the most challenging part was telling their children that the “family dynamic” was changing. Amurri admitted that was the thing she was most nervous and worried about and the most complicated “emotional milestone” she’d gone through.

However, she and her ex-husband got through it together with the children, and even though it was hard and sad, it went well. In 2021, the actress’s daughter updated fans on how she was doing on her blog, confessing that nothing was simple about moving on with one’s life after a divorce.

The star’s daughter noted that re-opening one’s heart was also complex after being committed to one person for a while. Amurri shared how no one went into a marriage thinking it would end almost a decade later, with her adding:

“Going through a divorce was the hardest thing I’ve ever done…”

However, Amurri wasn’t meant to be alone forever after leaving her children’s father. Sarandon‘s daughter didn’t take long to fall in love again, and although she had to take time to heal her broken heart, she was brave enough to take the next step with her next partner.

In February 2023, Amurri took to her Instagram page to reveal that she was engaged by including several photos of her engagement ring! The blogger shared some song lyrics about ending up with Ian Hock, her fiancé, and revealed that those who knew them well knew what that moment meant to them.

She said they were delighted and couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their days together. On her Instagram Story, Amurri shared several images of her and Hock in Paris for their engagement, with one showing them kissing on a bridge.
