Sylvester Stallone’s name is almost synonymous with high-paced, action-filled thrillers, but when he’s not acting, there’s much more to the “Rocky” star than most people know. For one, Sylvester is a loving dad of five children. Throughout his life, the actor has been married numerous times, and he has had kids with two of his ex-wives.

Sylvester had two kids with his first wife, Sasha Czack. The pair share two sons, Sage Stallone and Seargeoh Stallone. His first marriage sadly didn’t last, but the actor went on to marry the model Jennifer Flavin later on. They also had children, three daughters, Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, and Scarlet Stallone.

The actor welcomed his first child, Sage, on May 5, 1976. Sage looked set to follow his dad into the film industry, although they had different approaches to movies. They even starred together on more than one occasion. Tragically, Sage passed away due to a heart condition in 2012.

The girls apparently even boxed in the kitchen.

Seargeoh was born in 1979 but stays out of the public eye. Sylvester’s second son was diagnosed with autism, leading his parents to start numerous fundraisers and establish research funds for people with autism. Sylvester married his third and current wife, Jennifer, and the pair had their daughters together.

Sylvester and Jennifer welcomed their first daughter, Sophia Rose, on August 27, 1996. The oldest of the Stallone daughters underwent heart surgery at just two months to correct the congenital malformation of a heart valve. Two years after Sophia was born, Sylvester and Jennifer welcomed Sistine Rose while in Los Angeles.

The youngest of the Stallone sisters, Scarlett Rose, was born on May 25, 2002, also in Los Angeles. Sylvester has often featured her on his Instagram and praised her on social media after she finished high school in 2021. He also shows off her athletic prowess by lauding her for her achievements in track and field.

Although Sylvester is a devoted dad, he would be the first to admit that he hasn’t always placed his family first in his life. The “Rambo” star confessed that it took him decades to see what truly matters most in life, having spent much of his younger years focusing on his career. Luckily, he realized his family is paramount.

Sylvester noted that he’s a much better dad to his three girls than he was to his boys simply because he has shifted his priorities. Although he did put time and effort into raising his sons, he feels much more equipped as a father at the age of 50. He commented that most men probably become better dads as they age:

“I make a much better father and husband now than I could have earlier…I sometimes think all men should wait till they’re 50 to settle down.”

The actor confessed that much of his younger years were spent on movie sets, and his work largely took up his attention. However, he has learned that his family adds the most meaning to his life, while his career should be secondary to those he loves. These days, he’s ensuring he makes the most of his time with his loved ones.

Sylvester also opened up about raising girls compared to raising boys. Although he didn’t say which is easier to parent, he confessed that raising girls is an entirely different experience. He also spoke candidly about his parenting style, saying he has always been a parent who prefers to lay down the law.

Although Sophia shares many of her father’s traits, the young woman chose not to follow in her father’s footsteps.

Sylvester encouraged his daughters to be confident and disciplined by raising them as “military brats.” All three girls chimed in, recalling how their dad woke them up at 5 a.m. to do a few push-ups, work on their golf swing, shoot some pool, practice shotput, play a round of chess, and even recite some poetry.

Their pre-breakfast routines seem almost reminiscent of the training montages in “Rocky,” and Sylvester confirmed his regimental approach to raising his daughters. The girls apparently even boxed in the kitchen. The family revealed this upbringing in their reality TV show, “The Family Stallone.”

Becoming Beautiful Women

Although Sylvester and his family have appeared on their own reality TV show, it seems the actor’s three daughters have a wide range of interests. Jennifer has commented on her daughters, saying Sophia takes the most after her father. The proud mom noted that Sophia and Sylvester have a special bond.

In recent years, Sylvester’s daughters have also spoken about life in the movie star’s home.

The mother-of-three noticed how Sophia and her father share many of the same mannerisms, including similar gestures. She also stated that Sylvester and his oldest daughter often think exactly alike. Jennifer commented on their relationship, saying, “They have a very special bond … Sophia is the love of his life.”

Although Sophia shares many of her father’s traits, the young woman chose not to follow in her father’s footsteps. The oldest Stallone sister graduated from the University of Southern California in 2019 with a degree in fashion. She also started the “Unwaxed” podcast with her sister, Sistine.

Besides working on her podcast, Sophia also runs a digital book club on Instagram titled “Favorite Book Club.” Sylvester showed how close he is with his oldest daughter when he congratulated her on her 26th birthday by sharing an image on Instagram. He wrote, “A VERY HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MY VERY SPECIAL DAUGHTER, SOPHIA!!!”

Sophia’s sister, Sistine, also chose to go a different route than her father. The young woman has proven to be adept at runways, taking after her model mother. She signed with IMG Models in 2016 and has been seen strutting her stuff in several fashion shows over the years, including a Chanel show.

Sistine was also named a “fresh face to watch” by Vogue and posed for an advent calendar by “Love” magazine. Besides modeling, Sistine has inherited some of her father’s acting prowess. Sistine made her film debut in 2019, starring in the horror film “47 Meters Down: Uncaged.”

The 25-year-old model has since also starred in the 2021 film “Midnight in the Switchgrass” alongside other famous faces such as Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Bruce Willis, and Emile Hirsch. She shared that her dad encouraged her when she started acting by helping her read for all of her first auditions.

Sylvester and Jennifer’s youngest, Scarlet, only finished her high school career in 2021. Little is known about where her life is heading, but her dad often posts about her. In 2021, Sylvester wrote to her, “Happy birthday to our amazing daughter, SCARLET, you are talented, humble and Generous to all. We love you beyond words.”

In recent years, Sylvester’s daughters have also spoken about life in the movie star’s home. Although he’s a caring dad who wants to provide them with everything they need, the three sisters agree that there are some aspects of life where the actor’s reputation can be a bit of a drawback.

While getting candid about their home life, Sistine revealed that Sylvester often plays the role of the overbearing father a little too well whenever boys come calling. She recalled how her dad frightened one of her boyfriends when he leaned in for their first kiss:

“Dating when you have the dad that we do is rough. The first time a boy came over to meet my parents … he’s going in for the first kiss and I was so nervous but I was excited. And he looks up at the balcony, and he goes, ‘Oh my God. What is that?'”

Sylvester had been standing in the window, checking on the two, when Sistine’s boyfriend spotted his silhouette. Sistine recalled the boy was so frightened by the looming figure that he jumped in his car, drove off, and never returned for another visit. Sophia concurred, saying her dad often goes “Full-on Rambo.” She noted:

“It has been a bit of a struggle for my sisters and I to even find a relationship. Not only do we have Stallone attached to our last name, [but] my dad is also very overprotective and quite intimidating (sic).”

The girls also revealed their dad often keeps his distance from their boyfriends even if they survive the intimidation tactics. It can be difficult for a dad to see his daughter with a boy, but Sistine noted that her father’s guarded demeanor is often hurtful, especially when she wants her dad to get to know her significant other.

Although Sylvester acknowledged his daughter’s complaints, he defended himself by saying he was trying to protect them. The actor commented, “Someday you’ll see, I’m helping you, girls. I’m getting rid of these creeps.” Sophia also praised her dad’s efforts, saying guys often try to date her for the wrong reasons.

Together in a Reality TV Show

Sylvester has decided to return to viewers’ screens, but this time he’s giving people a closer look at his daily life, and he’s doing so along with his family. The Stallones have recently released their reality TV show “The Family Stallones,” giving fans a more personal view of the action film star’s personal life.

Unlike Sylvester, the rest of his family had limited experience in front of a camera before the new show started.

The show stars Sylvester, his wife Jennifer, and their three daughters. Their adorable pups naturally also make appearances. During the run of the first season, the family members opened up about life in the Stallone household, and the three sisters opened up about how their movie-star dad is when he’s not filming.

Unsurprisingly, Sophia, Sistene, and Scarlet shared that their father can’t help but take on the role of director, even when he’s in the scenes. Scarlet confessed, “Sometimes he can’t help himself, he comes out when we’re just shooting a scene, he turns into director Sly and he goes, ‘The lighting, it has to be facing me.'”

Sylvester, on the other hand, admitted that shooting the new reality show has turned out to be much more “labor-intensive” than he first thought it would be. The family also spoke about how the editing and scripting influence the honesty of the show, saying they try to keep it as sincere as possible. Sylvester commented:

“No, the stories are totally real, but you do go, ‘I’m not gonna say that, okay? And I’m not gonna say that because I just don’t think it’s funny and I don’t think it’s relevant.”

Although they try to be as open and genuine as possible, the family noted that they do try to temper some of the script to preserve a little bit of privacy. They admitted that there are some things they prefer to keep to themselves, although they want viewers to experience what they are truly like behind closed doors.

Still, starting a reality show was a daunting prospect. Unlike Sylvester, the rest of his family had limited experience in front of a camera before the new show started. They adapted to being in front of a camera well, but it took some time for the girls to be comfortable, since they’ve largely stayed out of the limelight. Scarlet noted:

“It was really hard because we’re not growing up in the spotlight, so having to be so raw and so honest, especially in front of the camera, was a big step. Especially for me because they have their podcast, so they’re kind of used to it. But it was really hard for me at first.”

Nonetheless, all three sisters have taken to their on the show over time, and Sylvester praised them for how casual and charismatic they all are. Sistine commented on making the showing, gushing, “It was just a lot of time, a lot of energy, but it was really nice being able to do it with your people.”
