Take That fans in Yorkshire are in for a treat as the band confirmed today they will be heading up north as part of a huge UK tour next year.

The band, comprising Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, made the announcement on the ZOE Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 this morning.

It comes as fans were treated to a first full listen of the new single Windows, which will feature on the band’s upcoming new album This Life, due to be released later this year.

Take That teased their return to the limelight yesterday after their logo was projected onto music venues across the country – including Sheffield’s Utilita Arena – leaving fans eagerly awaiting some big news.

Fans weren’t left disappointed as Take That confirmed they will be heading out on a huge stadium and arena live tour next year, playing 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland.

They will be joined on the tour by special guest Olly Murs, and the tour will kick off in Sheffield, followed by Leeds.

How to get tickets

Those who pre-order new album This Life from the official store before 10am on September 26 will receive a special code to access pre-sale tickets from Wednesday, September 27 at 9.30am.

Tickets will go on general Friday, September 29 at 9.30am from here .

When does the new album come out?

The new Take That album will be released on November 24. The first single off the new album, called Windows, was released at midnight on Friday. Any fans who pre-order their new album This Life from the official store here before 10am on 26 September will receive a special code to access pre-sale tickets from Wednesday 27 September at 9.30am.
