Teddy Cadan Is the Daughter of Actress Lena Headey and Filmmaker Dan Cadan

While pursuing her career in Hollywood, Lena Headey became a mother to Teddy Cadan, her daughter from her second marriage. Lena Headey’s children rarely make public or social media appearances. However, the actress once paid tribute to Teddy on social media.

Lena Headey is an accomplished actress most recognized for her role as Cersei Lannister in the hit series “Game of Thrones.”

Headey also starred in several on-screen productions before “Game of Thrones,” including “The Remains of the Day,” “Possession,” “300,” and “The Brothers Grimm.” Behind the scenes, Headey is a wife to Marc Menchaca and a mother to Teddy Cadan and Wylie Elliot Loughran.

Headey has been married three times since 2007, but her career never wavered. She continues to be an accomplished actress while pursuing her responsibilities as a mother.

Headey welcomed her second child, Teddy, on July 10, 2015. A few hours later, she took to Twitter to share the fantastic news uniquely. The actress wrote:

“Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time.”

Headey first announced her pregnancy in February of the same year and requested everyone to respect her privacy so she could enjoy the special moment.

Teddy was born during Headey’s marriage to Dan Cadan, her second husband. Dan, a director known for “Snatch,” “Walk Like a Panther,” “The Devil’s Wedding,” and “Boiling Point,” has known Headey since childhood. However, the two only began their romantic relationship in the late 2010s.

Headey is also a mother to Wylie Elliot Loughran, whom she welcomed on March 31, 2010, during her marriage to Peter Paul Loughran.

Headey and Dan tied the knot about a year after his 2017 proposal. By then, they already had Teddy and Headey’s son from her first marriage. Unfortunately, their union did not last. Headey’s 2021 interview with The Guardian suggested their separation. However, her third marriage to Menchaca confirmed their split.

Headey rarely shares photos of her children on social media. She also refrains from bringing them to red-carpet events. However, she once shared a sweet photo of her daughter alongside a lengthy caption for International Daughter’s Day.

Teddy looked adorable as enjoyed giving her mother a head massage. According to Headey, her daughter is “stubborn and tenacious, opinionated and funny, kind and curious, intuitive and observant.”

Teddy is also the kind of girl who loves her family fiercely and laughs at the slightest errors. Admittedly, Headey and her daughter don’t always see eye to eye. Nevertheless, she wrote:

“I love you beyond words, you glorious tiny woman you.”

Headey is also a mother to Wylie Elliot Loughran, whom she welcomed on March 31, 2010, during her marriage to Peter Paul Loughran. Headey and Peter met during a mutual friend’s wedding and fell in love soon after.

They tied the knot in 2007 but unfortunately divorced in 2013 citing irreconcilable differences. During the divorce proceedings, they agreed to share physical and joint custody of Wylie.

However, a custody battle reportedly ensued when the actress moved to the UK with their son, which according to Peter, was a violation of their custody agreement.

Headey is one of the many celebrities who endured custody battles after separating from their spouses. Some of them include Lil’ Kim, who shares a daughter, Royal Reign Jones Neil, with rapper Mr. Papers, and Janet Jackson, who shares a son, Eissa Al Mana, with Wissam Al Mana.
