Teenage girl dies after e-scooter crash in Perth’s north



A 13-year-old girl who was hospitalised after an e-scooter crash in Perth’s north has died.

The scooter and a car collided on Wanneroo Road in Wanneroo just after 2pm on March 28.

The girl was treated by St John Ambulance and taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries,” a police spokesperson said at the time.

The car’s driver was uninjured. On Thursday afternoon, a week after the crash, police confirmed the girl had died as a result of her injuries.

An investigation remains ongoing through the police major crash investigation section.
