Khloé Kardashian is letting us know in the most subtle way ever that, even though there is a new baby between them, she is maintaining her distance from Tristan Thompson. Announcing the birth to Us Weekly, a rep for the reality star seemingly avoided any mention of Thompson and his reaction to the new baby. “Both baby and mother are very happy and healthy. Khloé is so thrilled to expand her family,” the source told the outlet. Kardashian’s decision to keep Thompson’s name out of her mouth should, however, come as no surprise.
In July, a source close to the reality star confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that, outside of their co-parenting duties, Kardashian had not spoken to the NBA star since news of him fathering Maralee Nichols’ son broke. While a name has yet to be revealed, ET has since confirmed that the reality star will “have the baby full time,” but raise him with Thompson.
The baby’s arrival comes amid rumors that she is dating a private equity banker whom, according to Page Six, she met through older sister, Kim. A new man and a new baby? Kardashian apparently has all she needs to move on from all of the drama that comes with Thompson.
