While several “Love is Blind” couples usually make it to the altar each season, not all of them tie the knot. In fact, some couples get to their wedding day, only to announce that they can’t go through with the marriage, after all. For instance, during the Season 4 finale, Micah Lussier (pictured) was seen leaving her wedding in tears after her fiancé, Paul Peden, revealed that he couldn’t marry her. “I love you, but I don’t think that we can choose each other right now,” Paul told Micah in front of their family, friends, and a plethora of TV cameras.

It’s pretty much a given that someone is getting left at the altar in every season of “Love is Blind.” The show’s creator, Chris Coelen, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about why some couples call it quits on the big day. “The truth is when you have gotten engaged and you set a wedding date and one person is ready to say I do and the other person is like, ‘Yeah, I’m not sure, maybe we just date,’ that’s probably going to be the end of your relationship, regardless,” Coelen explained. “No matter what you say or how you want to play it off, it’s over.”

Sadly, some of the relationships forged in the “Love is Blind” pods simply don’t survive in the real world.
