Matt Rapphahn, the owner of Long Trail Auto, saw everything that happened with Treat on Monday. Rapphahn’s business is located on Route 30, where Treat’s accident with another vehicle occurred.
What Happened to Treat Williams?
Rapphahn said that when the accident happened, he saw Treat wearing a helmet and flying through the air. Treat landed a few feet from his motorcycle, and Rapphahn said the wheel of his vehicle was still spinning.

When paramedics arrived on the scene, Rapphahn once again experienced everything. He talked about Treat, saying:
“He was totally alert, answering questions.”
Treat had been driving his motorcycle when an SUV hit him. The actor was thrown off his motorcycle, and a helicopter then airlifted him to the hospital, where he ultimately took his last breaths.
