The Duke Still Hopes For Reconciliation Amid Ongoing Royal Rift

Harry also stated that he will not pursue any further legal action after the latest court ruling on his UK security arrangements, admitting, “It’s proven that there was no way to win this through the courts.”

King Charles ‘Can’t Speak’ To Harry Amid Fears Of Leaks, Insiders Say

A close friend of King Charles told The Times that the monarch’s silence towards his second son isn’t due to unwillingness but necessity.
“It’s not that the King won’t speak to him—it’s that he can’t. How can you have a private and delicate conversation when you know it is going to end up on a news special within hours?” the friend explained, per The Independent.
They added, “Perhaps if he tried to earn rather than demand a reconciliation, things might go a little better for him. It’s just very tragic.”
Another royal insider emphasized Charles’ frustration in a chat with The Sun: “What has frustrated and upset him on a more personal level is the duke’s failure to respect this principle. And for his supporters to suggest that somehow his father doesn’t care about his family or should step in.”
