Earlier this week, the New York Post released a piece of news revealing the arrest of the leader of a notorious group known for taking over an apartment building in Aurora, Colorado. This arrest has removed a dangerous individual from the community.
The ringleader, Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, who was involved in a well-known break-in incident captured on camera in Aurora, Colorado, was apprehended in New York City during a bold operation early in the morning, right across from an elementary school.
Law enforcement sources informed The Post that 25-year-old Zambrano-Pacheco was captured as a part of the first set of immigration raids promised by the Trump administration in New York City.
He was caught by heavily armed Homeland Security Investigations officers who stormed an Ogden Avenue apartment building in The Bronx in the early hours, the sources said. The building is across the street from PS 11, a k a the Highbridge School.
Earlier on Tuesday, my colleague Mike Miller described the story of the operation of which Zambrano-Pacheco’s arrest was a part.
