According to Valerie Bertinelli, the family duo recorded a Mother’s Day special together. Bertinelli also made a joke, saying that her appearance on the show delights her son, referencing his less-than-enthusiastic facial expression. In addition, she announced that the show is out on Wednesday, May 10, on Classic Rewind channel 25.

Wolfgang Van Halen turned to the comments section to express his love for his famous mother, writing, “Love you, Maaaaaaaaaaaa.” He added the heart emoji at the end of the comment.

Instagram followers noticed how Wolfgang shows a resemblance to both his parents. Some of the fans noted that he is a “true mix of both his parents.” Another fan agreed, writing that “he’s a combination of both of them.”

Other followers thought that her son looks “just like dad.” People commented that he is “more like Eddie,” referring to his late father Eddie Van Halen.

After being asked if he could ever step into his father’s shoes, Van Halen Junior assured, “That’ll never happen.”

The late, great Eddie Van Halen, an American music legend, passed away at 65 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Following his father’s death, Wolf shared an emotional tribute, writing:

“He was the best father I could ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift.”

Wolfgang Van Halen has certainly followed in his father’s footsteps, becoming a talented musician in his own right. He played with his father’s band and also joined Guns ‘N’ Roses on stage. The musician also released his personal debut album called “Mammoth WVH.” Wolfgang has been performing on stage since he was 15 years old and can both play numerous instruments and sing.

However, he never had the ambition to surpass or replace his legendary father. After being asked if he could ever step into his father’s shoes, Van Halen Junior assured, “That’ll never happen.”

It was very hard for Wolfgang to process his father’s death, so he requested fans to get used to the fact that there’s no band without Eddie Van Halen. Although Eddie’s music can live forever, his band can’t exist without him.
