Waheen Yaseen, 46, and Nelson Ndikumana, 40, were jailed when they appeared at Leeds Crown Court last Thursday.
Yaseen, of Wesley Street, was jailed for ten years and six months for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a firearm. Ndikumana, of Norton Street, was jailed for 25 months for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Sergeant Tonge, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “Firearms and Class A drugs have no place on the streets of West Yorkshire and the Neighbourhood Impact Team will continue to disrupt the activities of those involved in this kind of criminality in the Wakefield district.
“The converted firearm possessed by Yaseen was clearly intended for criminal purposes and I hope our communities will be reassured by this result.”
