Four months after his split from Kate Beckinsale, Pete Davidson began dating Margaret Qualley, daughter of actor Andie MacDowell, in August 2019, according to Page Six.They traveled to Venice, Italy, together for the Venice Film Festival, as Qualley’s movie “Seberg” was playing there. According to sources who spoke to Us Weekly, Davidson joined Qualley on the red carpet. When they toured Venice, they held hands and seemed very happy together. At the premiere, Davidson sat in the row behind Qualley while she sat next to co-star Anthony Mackie.
By all accounts, the relationship was a hit for both of them. “They’ve been seeing each other for a couple of months and Margaret is really excited about him,” an insider told Us Weekly. Even her family supported the blossoming romance, as Qualley’s mom offered her two cents on the relationship. “I FaceTimed with Pete the other day or no, she took a video of me to send to Pete that’s what it was,” MacDowell said to People about her daughter. “She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much,” MacDowell went on and then said, “They have a nice relationship.”
However, the pair broke up in October 2019. It wasn’t an age gap issue, because at the time of their relationship, Davidson was 25 while Qualley was 24, a later publication by Page Six reports. In fact, any reason for their split was never given by either Qualley or Davidson.
