Following seven seasons on Bravo’s “Southern Charm,” Danni Baird has taken a step back from living in the spotlight and instead has chosen to focus full time on her career as an artist.
When Baird first became a regular on “Southern Charm,” it was obvious that art was a huge part of her life and was one of the reasons she never became a full-time cast member. Speaking with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish,” Baird said that rather than focus on starring in the show, she has always been focused on herself and her artwork. “Unfortunately, with artwork, you can’t rush it,” she said. “Yeah, I’ve just been really focused on me.”
Her artwork, which is named “DB Designs,” features paintings of nature, animals, and architecture — seemingly whatever inspires Baird, and makes her happy. On the Art Mecca of Charleston website, a gallery where Baird’s pieces were for sale, Baird explained that art is her “passion” and “heartfelt focus” that allows her to escape from everyday life — and now, even her place on “Southern Charm.” “Art has always played a significant role in my life but now it is at the forefront,” she said, via Bravo. “Every piece I create is an extension of me and very personal.” And while “Southern Charm” fans are happy to continue supporting Baird in her new chapter, it has left fans wondering if her former cast mates are offering her the same support.
