After a three-year hiatus, season six of Netflix’s popular show, “Black Mirror,” has been revealed to hit the screen soon, and with few modifications to the plot and cast, excited fans are here for it. Here’s a recap of the previous five seasons.

Produced by Anabel Jones and Charlie Brooker, “Black Mirror” is a TV sci-fi series that has each episode set in a frightening, undesirable community.

The series explores different genres and shows how technology comments on contemporary societal matters.

Altogether, five series have been produced, and recently, Netflix announced that a new series of “Black Mirror” is about to hit the screens. This series has been one of Netflix’s biggest shows.

Sources have implied that production and the casting are underway, and the new season will be premiered as soon as it’s finished.

WHAT WAS IN THE PREVIOUS “BLACK MIRROR” SEASONS?

This exciting show has had many glued to their seat in the previous series and has more than 22 episodes.

With its episodic plot, “Black Mirror” has created a series of plots in each episode and still maintained the general theme; it has won the viewers’ hearts over time.

The Netflix series had a Christmas special episode in 2014. Again, the actors were exceptional, and there were strings of fascinating, unsettling moments that made an excellent story.

Another exciting episode of “Black Mirror” is “Bandersnatch.” The story was set in 1980, which was perfect for the episode, and the story takes viewers through dark twists and turns and arrives at a brilliant and satisfying conclusion.

Proving this show is not a one-hit-wonder, Season 3, Episode 2, titled “Playtest,” explores video games just as the name suggests.

It’s about a Japanese game developer, a haunted house, a character named Redfield, and an inventive plot. The inspiration for this story is said to be from the video game “Resident Evil.”

HOW TO WATCH “BLACK MIRROR” IN A CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER?

Many believe it really doesn’t matter in what order you watch the series because it is anthological, and each episode has a different plot with a different leading actor, although they all exist in the same universe.

Since no episode is created to follow from the last directly, you can pick up the series from a random episode and still make sense of the plot. The major theme running through all the episodes is the involvement of technology in modern-day life.

Even with the anthological nature of “Black Mirror,” it is still possible to watch it chronologically, and it’s a bit of guesswork, but it can still be achieved.
